‘New’ or lightly antiqued violin: £12,700

Viola: £13,000

Cello: £25,000

I try to keep one or two finished instruments available for trial or immediate purchase. Occasionally instruments are available for trial internationally, perhaps in collaboration with a violin shop or professional musician.

From time to time, an earlier instrument becomes available (for example, from a retiring musician or when someone exchanges one model for another, such as a del Gesù for a Stradivari). Please get in touch to check current availability.

Commissions For custom orders, I request a small deposit of 5–10%. The balance is payable upon completion and before shipping.

I’m happy to discuss your requirements in detail—whether you have specific model preferences, suggestions for copies (e.g., del Gesù, Stradivari, or Amati), varnish style, antiquing level, size/measurements (especially for violas), or any other ideas. Just get in touch to start the conversation.

Adjustments, Setup, and Warranty I offer complimentary adjustments whenever needed, even years after purchase—my goal is for you to be completely satisfied with the instrument’s playability and sound.

All instruments are crafted from the highest-quality, perfectly seasoned tonewoods using traditional methods. Issues are extremely rare, but to provide complete peace of mind, every instrument comes with a lifetime warranty against structural defects in workmanship or materials.
